Seeing the same thing here - if I understand this one correctly. LOL! I see my 2 new Nexia thermostats in SmartThings, works fine ... but the option to "share" them to Homebridge is grayed out. Is this expected? It may be that I'm doing something stupid.
Thanks!!
FYI, if it helps - here is the Nexia - SmartThings info, https://nexiasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040521172-Linking-Nexia-Thermostat-Devices-to-the-Samsung-SmartThings-App
Actually, I just went in to the SmartThings IDE, and interestingly enough, the device type here show as placeholder
=> thinking that may be the issue. Any idea what to set it to? There are quite a few thermostats to choose from 😆
Thanks!
Hi,
Trying to walk through the Groovy code, see if I can understand why the thermostat is not being recognized as such (as SmartThings is happy with it). But I admit, struggling a bit. Any pointers on where this is queried / verified?
Thanks!

Expected Behavior
I should be able to control thermostat from Homekit app
Current Behavior
Without SmartThings Hub, only using HOOBS I was able to connect and control all Kasa light switches, myQ garage, Ring cameras and Ring alarm to HomeKit app. HOOBS doesn't have a Nexia nor Z-Wave certified plugin but they mentioned that I should get a SmartThings Hub to connect my Nexia Thermostat. My Nexia Thermostat is a hub that also connects the GE fan switch. When I purchased and connected the SmartThings Hub, I was also able to see and control the GE fan but not Nexia. I can control and see the Nexia thermostat on SmartThings app, just not Homekit. logs.txt
