can't open windows 10 #484

Hi all!

I cannot run the program. I have tried both the portable and non portable versions on windows 10. The program shows the splashscreen and then just quits. Is there any way to troubleshoot why I cannot run the program. Any idea why? I installed the latest version of Java. Thanks!
