using 8.14 as well as 8.16 , the hdd (mechanical) while downlaoding at particulary more than 3MBps 100% utilisation

using 8.14 as well as 8.16 , the hdd (mechanical) while downloading at particularly more than 3MBps 100% utilization , so i checked some torrent downloading or any other single files thru browsers - they download at 3-4 MBps - i dont have this 100% noisy full disk utilization . its due to chunks scanned by antivirus avast i think , so i disable avast during downloading at 3-4 MBps , then disk utilization for some time ups and downs ranging 70-90 % then later in a minute or so , its back to 100% utilization ... if anyone have come across this ,please guide me what shall be done to stop 100% disk utilization, thank you.

this has nothing to do with megabasterd, but if your hdd is SMR instead of CMR it will slow down the more files your write to it, look it up
