What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a project with qt - dialogs (ui)
2. double click a dialog file
3. all path settings to the utilities are setted up correctly.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Designer should started up
but nothing appens

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
i use qdevelop .22.1
i work with a mac G5 PPC with osx 10.4.9

Please provide any additional information below.
in mac os shell, to start an application (.app) you must use the open
statement.

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this issue. It maybe because I am not running MacOSX, but
still...
is it still valid for 0.23/0.24?

Of course you cannot reproduce this issue if you are not using macos. ls in the
Qt installation of my macos gives:
surface:/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.1/bin axeljaeger$ ls
Designer.app lrelease pixeltool.app qtdemo.app
Linguist.app lupdate qmake rcc
assistant.app moc qt3to4 uic
surface:/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.1/bin axeljaeger$
Designer.app is a directory.
Open it with launch services and designer will open.

should the use of the open clause not help ?

Open designer.app in the menu command line ?
Only if its a MAC machine of course.

I've tested this issue and it works on my MacOSX.
The Designer started up and open the selected dialog file from QDevelop.
