Application dies on double build

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a project with working code 
2. edit it so is has to be rebuild using F7
3. press F7 again before the build is completed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The second build is started before the first one is completed and the
program dies after an error message is shown. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm usgin version 0.24 under kubuntu fiesty.

Please provide any additional information below.
I've attached a screenshot showing an error. 
I think there is a kind of NOW_BUILDING flag required to prevent a second
build when te first one with the same code is not yet completed.
