hide the gui while running an application #25

It would a good idea to hide the IDE's GUI when a user is executing an
application. This MUST be configurable (default - on).

This is implemented (I think) in Delphi.

I agree, particularly for MDI applications with several dialogs (think GIMP)
this
would be helpful.

As the one who opened this issue, and tried to get it working I will close it.

On Linux it's impossible to do this, since when you show the main window after
the
application has ended, the window manager will prevent you to get the focus
back
(think firefox pop-ups). Tried it and failed. Sorry, move on or prove me wrong
by
giving me a patch.
