Upload the latest stable font version to Google Fonts #1141

Just what the title says. Please upload the latest stable font version to Google Fonts (correct me if I'm wrong but, I can only find version 1, which is old and doesn't have the latest ligatures and features). Fonts downloaded from Google Fonts look "better" and smooth, especially Fira Code (at least for me on my PC). It would be great and easy to download fonts from Google Fonts and use them.

Also, it would be great if every version (at least from now on) is uploaded to Google Fonts to maintain consistency, so that users can instantly change the latest minor stable versions (like 5.x to 6.y, where x is the latest stable minor version in major version 5, and y is the latest stable minor version in major version 6) without any hassle.

Seems like it requires fixing a few warnings, postponing to v7 https://github.com/google/fonts/pull/4118
