Clicking on title in list mode to expand article instead of opening website #214

Hello,

First thanks for your work on kriss feed, it really suits almost perfectly my needs for RSS reading :-)

I would like to share a suggestion about this, i suppose i'm not the only one interested:

When displaying the list of articles, the line contains the title (click on it =redirection to the website), and the beginning of the content (click on it = expand the article). Most of the time, I like to click on the content to expand and read the full article in kriss feed, instead of clicking on the little "+" far at the end of the line. However, i have a lot of rss feeds which does not have any text content at all (only images), so there is no content to click and it happens often to click a little too quickly on the title and open the website instead of expanding the article.

Would it be possible to also expand the article when clicking on the title in list mode, instead of opening the website? In this way, the user just have to expand the article, and if he wants to go further in the website, he can still click on the title of the expanded article.

What do you think about it? Thanks a lot!

Hey actually I've planned to open item when click everywhere except on title (so even if there is no description it will open it). Do you think it will be ok for you ? I'd like to keep both original link and open item link. I don't know if you use it, but there is shortcuts with keyboard to simplify KrISS feed use : http://tontof.net/feed/?help

Good idea! :-) It will be perfect for me, and this way the link to the website is kept, so it's way better than my suggestion.

By the way, i already use shortcuts in KrISS feed, however sometimes I prefer to click on the item (for example, when I open a folder of feeds, to open the first element; or when firefox thinks i'm searching something and display the quick search bar when i type a shortcut)

Thanks!
