Work is being done in the build-macos branch to try to get a working binary built for MacOS.
The build basically works, but when copying out the .tgz file to a pristine Mac, and starting open890, there is an openssl/libssl error.
OpenSSL might need to be statically included as part of the build: https://elixirforum.com/t/include-openssl-within-a-build/32566/4
Additionally, since zsh is now the default shell on MacOS, it would also be useful to include an open890.zsh that Mac users can double-click to run. open890.sh doesn't seem to properly work.
open890.zsh
open890.sh
This is now working, and MacOS binaries are available as of release 1.0.3
