maven built pom.xml not found #10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. mvn package [-Dsnappy.prefix=SNAPPY_INSTALLATION_DIR]

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The built should create the tarball at 
target/hadoop-snappy-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.tar.gz

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux panda 2.6.32-220.4.2.el6.x86_64
Hadoop = Hadoop 1.0.2
snappy = snappy-1.0.5
maven 3

Please provide any additional information below.

Got the source of the project, took out a checkout. The issue is solved.
