I think you have to shift the paragraphs back to the left. It assumes the text is some kind of continuation from your numbering scheme, perhaps? Or it is a caption for the picture? I am not sure.

Can we close out this issue?
I can't say what exactly was the problem. I addressed it by using headers instead of numbering for sections of the post and doing minimal indents.
Noah and I are going to try using MarkdownPad for writing posts so we can see the published text real time and learn more markdown syntax.
