Does the FPS controller feel good? Such as walking, jumping, falling, looking etc.
I feel like the character walks a bit too fast. Aside from that, jumping, falling, looking all felt natural. When I was holding the bar, I felt inclined to click to use it to whack something (though the whacking didn’t happen haha).
Do you prefer pressing a key to pick up items or not?
From my experience, I only picked up one item (the glowing box). I don’t think it is necessary to press a key to pick it up. It felt intuitive that I picked it up once it disappeared on collision and transformed into a hand-held item.
How do you find the environment?
Really cool! I enjoyed the placement of the containers and the goal seemed obvious enough since you had glowing objects to indicate the box and the location to head to. Some containers had a small space between them that made me curious about whether I can fit in between (most of the time, I can’t). Also interesting that some containers leave to dead ends, which piqued my interest because I wanted to see if the dead-end would teleport me elsewhere, or if I can explore the space more to see what wouldn’t leave me to a dead end. The music was a nice addition --- adds to the ominous atmosphere of the environment.
Did you feel like Gordon Freeman for a second?
I never played Half-Life before so sorry! Cannot answer this question.
