No way to mark albums not in CDDB as various artists #86

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Insert a Various Artists CD whose details are not known in CDDB/FreeDB
2. Scan drive in Rubyripper
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
As expected, the usual CD artists, genre, title, year and track titles are
filled with editable placeholders. However, there is no way to inform
Rubyripper that this is a Various ARtists disc, and get the Track Artist
inputs.

What version of rubyripper are you using? On what operating system? Are you
using the gtk2 or the commandline interface?
svn rev. 106, gtk2 interface, Debian Etch

Please provide any additional information below.
The CD I used, just for completeness, is a mix titled "RVNG Prsnts MX5
Justine D"

Ok, seems like a fair request. I'll look into it.

(fyi this was suggested in the original VA artists bug by me, possibly
overlooked)

I suggest a button that allows toggling modes, maybe up in the section along
with
year, genre, etc.

With revision 110 I not only prove that I'm still alive, but it also fixes this
request. Please give some feedback on it.
