I can understand your concern. I have not even thought about it because I
didn't feel like it is something you had to do. The mytime website has KM
references explaining that you are welcome to use whatever it takes to record
your info. I am not at bethel (though I am the congregation secretary) but I
have had circuit overseers, special pioneers, missionaries, and bethelites use
the program (there are 24,000 mytime users). One substitute circuit overseer
asks for features quite often in my circuit. Also this is an open source
project; this website has all of the source code for the app so anyone can see
I have exposed everything so as to help alleviate fears.
I would like the reference to the "the governing body warns..." and where you
got the idea about approval, could you send me those? Mabel I missed them
somehow. (email toopriddy@gmail.com)
Adding the daily text or bible is not in the scope of this program and if it
were legal to do it I still would not add it because it doesn't fit what mytime
is designed for: recording info for the ministry. The ebook publications from
jw.org are usable in any ebook reader.

Okay :)
I showed my aunt the app and how amazing it was for keeping track of time
and everything and she about freaked out asking if it was approved by the
governing body. My uncle is making a website for elders but is awaiting on
approval from the branch or they won't let him use it. So that's just where
the idea came from because some people are more strict then others. But
thank you for explaining!
