Unable to add direct credit custom hours type #338

Trying to add an hours type for a language class. Looks like I should be able to choose an hours type that affects pioneer hours OR a direct credit. But the direct credit button is only available if I first turn on the affects pioneer hours. These hours do not affect pioneer hours.

Hello, direct credits are applied to the month and service year for a pioneer. Direct credits do affect the pioneer hours, like if you have a 20 hour credit for the month and 50 field service hours, then you also get 10 hours in LDC, then your LCD hours do not count as credits because they only affect your hours+direct credits up to 70 hours for the month and can’t be carried over.

If you have any letter directly explaining something different about your specific credit hours please email me toopriddy@gmail.com and I can see but as far as the secretary instructions are concerned this is what I have instructions about.

If you are not a pioneer then this is not a direct credit, it will still be sent in your monthly report to your secretary so that they can note it down in the remarks for the month.

My situation is a language class. I am a Pioneer, and we were instructed to take a 25 hour credit every month that we are in the language class. We were also told that there is no cap... we simply add it to our service hours and can accumulate all the hours we want each month, exceeding 70 if we wish.

I'm not sure how to do that in My Time.

Hello, you will need to turn on both affects pioneer hours and direct credit.
