Freetuxtv does not seem to use default vlc config file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start freetuxtv with default Freebox group channel configured

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: video and sound
What I see: nothing

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 0.5.1, ubuntu 10.10. amd64

Please provide any additional information below
I modified following vlc options to make it work with vlc:
Tools -> Options
Check 'parameters' -> 'ALL'
Codec -> Demultiplexer -> RTP/RTSP
Uncheck 'Use RTP over RTSP(TCP)'
Change 'Client Port' to something > 1024
Click 'Save'

Add NAT rule on my router:
Client Port and (Client Port -1) (UDP) NATed to my computer

Opening with vlc works great. (vlc --open

Make a cp ${HOME}/.config/vlc/vlcrc ${HOME}/.config/FreetuxTV/ does not change 
anything.
