I like this idea, though it's kind of hard for us to make sure what people say is truthful the way a platform like the app store can for its content, which can be more harmful than good if abused.
I think there might be a good way to approach this but it requires more consideration. A more reliable approach would be #355 but it doesn't cover everything here.
This could be done with adding a privacy-policy section/link that links to a website or somethign stating the bots privacy policy

Maybe a requirement for users to provide the correct data, aswell as providing proof of such (published source-code, audit etc).
Bot devs should not be forced to provide what data they store, more like optional to allow themselves to show more trust and transparency towards their users. Something like what Discord provides on their oauth pages regarding privacy policy / agreement.
Edit: pretty much what @IThundxr said above me.
Being that a lot of bots would want to do to this and are already approved would cause a challenge to the Bot Reviewer team as it would drive the queue number up even higher than it already is.
Suggestion
Now that it is harder than ever to get privacy on the web, i think there should a way for users to see what data the bot logs when we use it. Bots have the potential to capture everything that happens in a discord server without your knowledge, and adding a feature disclosing this will make it a lot easier to keep track of your privacy on discord.
The way this could be implemented is either with a paragraph disclosing the data the bot gathers or some type of system that shows on which level the bot is gathering data. Eg. there can be different icons of the bot logs any data or not.
I think it is important that the bot owner specifies:
Let me know what you think, but in my opinion this is something that a lot of people will appreciate.
