[UI Bug] Different CTA button on product list page #249

Issue Title : Different CTA button for product list page with the same status available Target URL : https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100017489%2050001759&SpeTabStoreType=0&Manufactory=1759

Device: Laptop Operating System: Windows 10 Browser: Google Chrome

Steps to reproduce :

  1. I go to https://www.newegg.com/ and browse the left category then select Computer System > Laptop/notebook
  2. I click Apple Macbook in the tab behind laptop/netbook sub title, the page show
  3. The page show some Apple Macbook, but there are two different CTA button for product with same status avaialbe; ADD TO CART and VIEW DETAILS.

Actual result: There are two different CTA button in the list

Expected results: I thought the CTA format should have the same ADD TO CART, cause when to view the product detail user can click the product title. Or bot of product have the same CTA button; VIEW DETAIL | ADD TO CART

Not a bug. This is the default behavior.

Products which have variants or 'more buying options' have 'View details' instead of 'add to cart' so that user gets to select a specific variant and then add it to cart

My concern, what is the different "Add to Cart" and "View Detail" button? Why these product have "Add to Cart" and the other have "View Detail", Why not all the product have the same button. let say "Add to Cart" ? Could you explain the difference both of two different button ? As customer need the same UI when product is the same status, right ?
