404 Page-not-found error #250

Actual result: < the discussion forum for new registered challenge return 404 page >

Steps to reproduce: < go to https://apps.topcoder.com/forums/?module=Category&categoryID=0 >

Expected result: < Take down the URL and parse correct URL, so users can access the challenge discussion forum page >

Functional Bug

Device: HP Probook 6650b/OS: Ubuntu 20.04/Browser Information: google chrome 88.0.4324.93

Good job @dprincecoder

Can you try attaching a video proof for this bug starting from the step where you click on 'Challenge forum' link? You can use any screen recording tool and keep the video duration as short as possible (under 30 seconds would be good unless the steps to reproduce the bug are complex)?

In a paid Bug hunt project, providing a video proof for a functional bug is must. so this would be a good chance to practice making bug videos. (Audio is not necessary, Just a video with exact steps to reproduce.)

Just make sure you have detailed steps to go to the link present in your email. The more details you provide, its better for the reviewer/developer to reproduce the bug and then fix. In your case, it should be like:

  1. Go to https://www.topcoder.com/challenges
  2. Register for the challenge https://www.topcoder.com/challenges/98f1092f-fd17-4092-a2db-dfde75462762
  3. Open the registration confirmation email that is just received from service@topcoder.com
  4. Click on the first discussion forum link provided
