It would be nice to have a multi-quote option that doesn't redirect you to reply page instantly as the single quite does, but rather inserts the quote into quick reply on the discussion page.
It can be called "Multi quote" and when you click on it, every other "Multi quote" changes to "+/-" or "Add/remove quote".
This would allow to reply to several messages in one go. Here's a screenshot from SkyscraperCity.com
