TCO Algorithm Rounds don't have more competitors than regular rounds #75

According to https://www.topcoder.com/tc?module=MatchList the TCO Algorithm Rounds seem to have almost the same number of competitors, in average, than regular SRMs, this means that there's probably no incentive for non regular contestants to compete in TCO. Some years ago TCO rounds had much more competitors than regular SRMs. Of course we need to consider that there are 250 byes but in the past the difference in number of contestants was still big between regular rounds and TCO Round 1.

Probably something can be done to get more people to participate in TCO, even people who don't compete often.

Could customers sponsor and speak with members in the TCO Algorithm Rounds? Check with Wipro. T-shirt prizes?

There is a greater problem that we are seeing with participation that we will be addressing. This is still an important topic, so we will keep this in the backlog.
