Application Force Close on Nexus S

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed the Application
2. Run application

The application opens, and in the screen with the history about Mezzofanti I 
click 'start' button and it crashes. I thought it was a problem with the camera 
being already running but its not, I stoped the camera. It happens on the Large 
and Small Application.

Same issue on Galaxy S II (Gingerbread). Any solutions?

Even I am facing this issue on Sony Xperia Play. I found this on the group
http://groups.google.com/group/android-discuss/msg/b12e72fa3bf8f4ac?hl=en&
but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?
