Including Distance PB #25

Greetings. I´m running DS3 any% hitless at the moment and I think it would be a great feature to be able to set the Distance Personal Best in the counter instead or additional to the daily Distance PB. e.g. daily remains with yellow star, Distance PB with a blue star or smth. Then everyone could see on the current Counter what is the PB and what´s the Distance PB. Right now only the PB is visible for anyone, the Distance PB has to be asked.

Hi, yes this is currently not shown or stored. The difficulty here is how to display it. most people are asking what the star means, but I could not find a suitable self-explaning symbol yet. It was just taken over from the old counter Hob was using as I started with my tool. Maybe a clock, calendar or a sun or something like that, than we could use an infinity symbol for the distance by or anything like that. Colors would not solve the problem that people are asking for the meaning.

I also thought about adding this symbol to the split name, so we can get rid of the extra column, but the space is needed any ways. So the first iteration could be to just have a new column showing which was the latest split ever without hits (need to check what effect this has for the other modes, like no death.)

Or do you have any suggestions how this could be shown in a self-explanatory manner without wasting to much space?

Hi,

hmm a flag sounds also quite nice as symbol for the distance PB.

I will look into that and try a little bit what fits best. (It can be improved/changed later on anyway if better solutions or ideas arise.) However, as you might already know, I just work on the application only from time to time, so it might not be solved in the near feature.

Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Cheers/Viele Grüße, Peter
