not enough information about error during of instalation of modules #8117

Device:agm m7 Android version:8.1 Magisk version code: 27002

Hello. When i try install some module via magisk,i get an error like this: "not find application,which can execute this action" (it my free translation from russian). As i guess,in my custom firmware no activity,which can perform some intent action. But we should have more information about error: what action,what mime type,what error etc. In logs of magisk i haven't this info too. Please give more info for us,to avoid guessing. Note: i report not error,but not issue about not detail information about error. Thanks.

Could try installing Debug Magisk... Has verbose logging...

@pndwal This logging will be available via adb,or directly in magisk? I will see,but in future please provide more detail info about error,i.e what intent action,mime type,etc require to install module. If it will be detail info even in release version,it will make work with magisk more easier. Thanks.

I'm not a dev; just trying to help... You said detail re. module install errors is missing; just suggested debug logs may have what you need. 🙂

Really, you should be running Debug and supplying debug logs when opening an issue per template anyway... 😉
