Additional install always required, no Zygisk, root works #8543

Every time I start Magisk it asks for additional install. I have 3 options, patch boot, auto and second slot. Auto freezes device after several seconds, after "flashing changed boot.img" appears and never turns itself off by itself, screen is on. Second slot seems working, reboots, waits a lot being turned off, starts as usual with nothing changed.

I have root, I have working deny lists and some modules, no issues here. I can not activate Zygisk, it won't boot after restart, I need to skip something or use safe boot, restart to boot device and nothing changed.

Device: Tecno Pova 3 LF7N Android version: 12 Magisk version name: 070719db Magisk version code: 28001

May be related. GrapheneOS/Android 15 Root works, Zygisk doesn't work. Used with avbroot.

I have taken a look into your logs but it looks to be from a release build rather than debug so unfortunately did not provide any valid info. I know some MediaTek devices don't allow modification of boot partition at runtime, so I would suggest you use "select and patch a boot image file" and flash the generated image through fastmode and see if anything has changed.
