Creating multiple items with the same hotkey but different window text #116

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
This is a feature request, not a problem.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an item with a specific hotkey, and matching one window
2. Create another item, same hotkey, matching a different window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

You get an error indicating that this hotkey is already in use.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Current version. Ubuntu 10.04

Please provide any additional information below.

It would be nice to be able to have items that have the same hotkey but match
different windows. Ctrl+A does one thing in Firefox, but another thing in
Nautilus.

I couldn't see a way to make this an enhancement, instead of a defect...
