Autokey GUI will not appear #121

What steps will reproduce the problem?

In Ubuntu, select Applications|Autokey. I get error message stating: AutoKey is
already running as pid: 5889.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that the GUI would appear.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Ubunto 10.10 and the version of Autokey from the repos: 0.71.0-1

Please provide any additional information below.

After installing, I was initially able to get Autokey to work properly.
However, I can no longer get the GUI to appear. I've uninstalled and then
reinstalled.

Did you read the troubleshooting page? Did you try starting it with autokey-gtk
-c?

Can you try running it in the terminal with autokey -l and post the output?
