So currently - there are only Alt, Ctrl, Shift and Super keys available to bind
a given script. Why is that? Suppose I want to bind a script to a Alt-Capslock?
Or even Alt-Super? Currently I'm not allowed to do that.

We are limited to what combinations are possible by X itself, which only
supports 'grabbing' a specific range of key combinations. None of what you
suggested above is possible. Keeping this as OnHold in case I do think of any
other possibilities.
