What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the xterm package
2. Run the xterm terminal
3. Try to expand any text via autokey

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Nothing. It simply did not work. Works nicely with Yakuake and Konsole on
Kubuntu

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Kubuntu 13.10 with autokey 0.90.4

Please provide any additional information below.

Nothing more so far.

Same, with Fedora 19. using an abbreviation, script is invoked, and first
character or two of replacement text appears, then xterm hangs. urxvt behaves
the same. Works fine in gnome-terminal, chrome, gvim, etc.
