Hi Gift,
Sorry for the late response. I've been working on this very feature and will update you again soon when it's ready. In short, the relationship information will come from the onboarding form and automatically show up in the system.

Is there any way to make task system show parents pop up in the user list when we search user for the student? It's sometimes difficult to find who is the parents of that kid by searching last name. Some parents use different last name.

Hi Josh,
The "network" tab is set up to connect scholars and parents. You would add them in the "users" field, just like "groups" and "tasks". It would be great to automatically assign these roles via the Zapier webhook, but in order for it to work, either the parents or the student needs to be added first. They would be added like how the webhook is currently set up to add groups and tasks. However, it seems that it is not possible to add parents first, and then the student afterwards. Please let me know if that is correct and if you know of other ways to automate the process.
Thanks, Art

Hi Art,
Great to hear. I think adding students first is the correct work flow.
I'm not sure how to get this working through Zapier however. As the submission of the form, triggers the Zap into action. We could create a second Zap that mirrors the first, and just tags the parents. But I don't know if that's enough time for the submission - as they could be within a few seconds apart.
Second option, could change the form to actually submit twice. Once with the student info, and then again with the parent info. A bit more complicated on the front end - but would solve your issues on the backend.
On another note, I've been spending some time thinking and planning, about the next steps. And the correct direction for our app to take. To be honest, I need some more time to continue mapping this out - and exploring viability.
In the meantime, I have a few followups:
1) How did the reservation system turn out? Did we get to test it and implement yet? 2) Can you check out slack.com? I believe this could cover many features we want to develop so we could focus. Could you let me know if this is true? 3) Emails/phone calls were not populating into the system. Can you check that? 4) Can continue with system optimization as needed.
Let me know if any questions. And touch base soon.
Thanks Art, Josh

I think we can start with the first option to avoid making changes to the web form (though from a UX perspective it should be less stress to fill in a bunch of small forms than one big one). If it doesn't work, then we can try the second one.
1) The reservation system has been working fine from all the tests the staff and I ran. One issue, though, is whether students should be able to cancel appointments from their Google Calendar, rather than through the web app. I started working on that but haven't completed it yet. 2) Slack provides team collaboration tools by pulling together existing productivity services, but I currently do not see any scheduling or CRM component. 3) Sorry for that. I've tweeked emails and calls a bit. Should load faster now. If it's not acceptable, I can keep optimizing. 4) Will do

Ok can prioritize the Reservation System for this week and get that done. Will help get us in a good place for next step. I think canceling via system is better. Let me know if you need more.
For Slack could this cover most of our functions. I am debating moving stuff to Slack so we can focus our development that is more specific. If Slack can cover a lot of features, might save time. Cab you give me some thoughts here?
Let me know if anything else.
Thanks dude. Be in touch soon for next focus.

Hey Josh,
Slack is designed to reduce email communication within an organization. At the moment it cannot replace scheduling, emails and SMS communication with the students/parents, unless you were thinking of making the students/parents all use Slack?
The reservation system is up and running. I agree that students shouldn't cancel from their calendars because in the system they can cancel and reschedule all in one shot. What I can do going forward is to fix up the UI.
