Reconsider the leading newline #565

Issue

I am aware of #159 but is it really helpful to leave that as default? Every time I generate a new one (or update the existing one) I have to remove the newline manually. I am opening this to reconsider.

I agree with this. Also I want to say gitignore.io is a life changer to me (thanks for that), but this really should be reconsidered.
