This way, the user don't need to go to a external link (developer website) to understand how to use the application.

As long as content is not duplicated, always up-to-date on both places, looks good.

Having the most essential info on the source code repo sounds good, as it makes things easier for the developers keep the essential technical docs up-to-date.
