cutorch does not load

I have tried deleting and installing torch, cutorch, cunn multiple times. However, I am just not able to make require 'cutorch' work.

I removed cutorch using: luarocks remove cutorch --force

And then re-installed using: luarocks install cutorch

At the end of installation I get: cutorch scm-1 is now built and installed in /afs/csail.mit.edu/u/s/smadan/torch/install/ (license: BSD)

But the error still persists.

Error when I try luajit -l cutorch is: luajit: .../u/s/smadan/torch/install/share/lua/5.1/cutorch/init.lua:2: cannot load '/afs/csail.mit.edu/u/s/smadan/torch/install/lib/lua/5.1/libcutorch.so' stack traceback: [C]: in function 'require' .../u/s/smadan/torch/install/share/lua/5.1/cutorch/init.lua:2: in main chunk [C]: at 0x0046b7d0 [C]: at 0x004065d0

CUDA version: 8.0.

Oops, I met the same problem, did you solve the problem? The same CUDA version - 8.0.
