Not actively developed anymore and is in maintenance mode? #246

Hello,

Can someone give me more info about:

NOTE: Torch is not actively developed anymore and is in maintenance mode.

Does this mean I should use other deep learning libraries?

I found this tutorial on the web:

But I'm now wondering if I should spend my time learning some other codebase?

Also, what is difference between torch and torch7?

Invest your time into PyTorch. This is Torch in Python.
