Пред возникновение проблемы я отправил 
файл

Какую версию Psi+ вы используете?
psi-plus-0.14.1143
Какую операционную систему?
Linux 2.6.26-1-686 #1 SMP Sat Jan 10 18:29:31 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

В консоли отображается только это
$ psi

а после перезапуска текст пишется 
нормально?

установите аспель или отключите спелчекр

aspell установлен.
Не могу унайти где в psi отключить проверку, 
хотя хотелось б чтобы она была.

Спасибо, сделал, теперь psi снова можно 
пользоваться, но хотелось бы иметь проверку
орфографии

попробуйте заменить существующие файлы в 
каталоге aspell на нашу версию,
http://psi-dev.googlecode.com/files/aspell-ruen.exe (это 
самораспаковывающийся архив)

Лучше скажите какой версии должен быть aspell 
чтобы всё работало. У меня 0.60.6-2.
Хочу отметить, что у меня всё работало, но в 
какой-то момент перестало, то есть
версии aspell и psi неменялись

aspell-en
aspell-ru
поэкспериментируйте с переменной LANG

Aspell работает, работает в других 
приложениях — Kate,Kmail, KOffice. Все они
используют aspell. Переменные попробовал, 
никакого эффекта. Ведь речь идёт о
переменных окружения?

Прошу прощения, не там залогинился.
В версии Psi+ 0.15.1729 Beta (Jan 27 2010) ничего не 
падает с включенным aspell. Но в
данный момент у меня не Debian (в дебиане не 
проверял больше, работает ли).
