SpoutCam source not available #75

Hello there,

I am new to TouchDesigner. I'm trying to setup this great mediapipe TD plugin with an NDI camera as my source. As suggested, I have replaced the VideoDeviceIn TOP with the NDI in TOP and I have followed the instructions in the youtube video for setting up SpoutCam in my windows environment. My issue is that SpoutCam is not showing as a webcam source in the mediapipe container.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance! (I have the latest releases of the plugin and SpoutCam)

Hi @lucaperrin it could be a few things

Is SpoutCam appearing elsewhere? If you add a VideoDeviceIn TOP is it an option there, or if you open OBS or Zoom or anything else that uses webcams, is SpoutCam listed?

Thanks for replying so fast @domisjustanumber It does indeed appear as a choice in a VideoDeviceIn TOP but not in the MediaPipe container...

In that case, I suspect the plugin is not loading properly. Are you using the version from release.zip?

I actually downloaded the [mediapipe-touchdesigner] folder directly and not the release.zip. With the release.zip, I can succesfsfully choose SpoutCam as my source ! Beginner's mistake from my end... Thank you so much for your help !
