Edit location from item page #13

Was wondering if this workflow is possible:

Hoping this will let us shelve items in different locations on the fly.

If someone is already signed in with a lab-admin account on the device with which the QR code is being scanned then the QR code will lead to the item profile page which has a link to the edit item page. You were hoping for the change to be made directly in the item profile page?

Note: if you have not signed in with the device you are using to scan the object you will not be able to edit the item because of the permission protocol.

yes I was hoping we could change the item location right on the item page. It removes an extra step but it may be a bit messier. Up to you, we'll make it work.

So this is going to be implemented in our next version of the system, I have linked Namir to my conference presentation slides which give a bit of info on how I am hoping to change this in the future!
