New option for non-quantifiable items #20

Items such as assorted LEDs, opened wires and the like usually are not quantifiable. For the time being, I have resorted to using the info box to indicate that one must check availability manually. That being said, the "Quantity" parameter should be able to reflect those items.

I am thinking along the lines of the "Quantity" parameter being a text box rather than a discrete counter, or something similar.

I'm not sure I understand what you are looking for. In what way is a numeric quantity not enough for such things? What other info are you looking to enter for "quantity"?

Say I have a large, unsorted box of assorted LEDs. Counting through each and every of LED would take a lot of time, much less sort them by colour.

Another example would be an opened spool of wire. There is no way to quantify how much wire is left from an open spool without unraveling the whole spool, measuring it and putting it back into the spool.

For the time being, I have resorted to putting "No rainchecks, please check for availability" in the info box for each of these 'non-quantifiable items', since there is no way of keeping track of discrete quantities of these items

I want a "Quantity" setting that allows me to say that these LEDs/wires/etc. are available, however there is no specific amount for each item and the person that wishes to use these items must check for the availability and the quantity of the items themselves.
