Some portrait pictures appear in landscape even though they display as portrait elsewhere #18

If I were to guess, I'd say that it's not honoring the rotation metadata stored in some JPEGs.

Had the same problem and fixed it by resizing my pictures to a standard format. Faststone photo resizer is great freeware for batch resizing.
