Soundflower cannot be selected as audio input/ouput #82

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select soundflower to be either audio input or output in sound preference 
pane
2. Select soundflower to be either audio input or output in audio midi setup
3.  Select soundflower to be either audio input or output using option click of 
volume icon in menu bar

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Internal speakers / internal mic is still the input / output. Soundflower 
cannot be selected to be the input or source.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.5.1, 1.5.2. Snow Leopard 10.6.4 on a MacbookPro 13 in

I got the same issue.  osx 10.6.8 on macbook pro. Soundflower 1.5.2. Is there 
anyway to examine the log file? It's really frustrating ....

Same issue in 10.7.3 Macbook Air Soundflower 1.5.2 and 1.6.1

Same here. Soundflower installs fine, but is not available as an output or 
input (reboot makes no difference)

Soundflower 1.6.1 
Macbook Air 10.7.3

Hello. I had the same problem, but: soundflower 1.3.1 finally works! (Mac 
10.6.8)
