Question about bans. #13

Are the people behind this PoC actively using it on GTA Online? I don't care about losing items and I've spare accounts.

I've used yesterday 3 times to test it out. No bans. I'm pretty sure no one will get banned using this, as Rockstar have a priority on banning people that use mods to get money.

I'm using, no problems so far. They don't ban mod menu dlls(I'm not using them), I don't think they would ban you for a DLL that unloads itself after its' job is done.

They do, but their anti-cheat is fairly poor and the good menus get around it without much issue. Lesser menus will definitely get you banned tho without much issue.

I agree, it's very unlikely they'll ban you for this.

A friend of mine got banned in 40 seconds using this. Would recommend being cautious when using this.

Huh. I didn't think it even would trigger anything since it unloads itself after it's done. Maybe rockstar did something on server side to mitigate this code specifically? idk, i didn't get banned so far. On 5 Mar 2021 05:50 +0300, Laurent notifications@github.com, wrote:

That's not possible because that's not how R*'s anticheat works. Bans take effect anywhere from 2 hours to 2 weeks or even more after detection occurs. If they got banned they did something hours or days ago.

That's what I suspected. Still, be cautious when using this
