Gnome applet compatibility

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Configure applets
2. Click on Add
3. See very few applets there.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to see all the applets that are available in Gnome. Also,
making AWN compatible with Gnome-applets would reduce the amount of work
for AWN considerably. At the moment, every applet probably has to be ported
individually.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SVN, Ubuntu Feisty

This is not supposed to be marked as a Defect. I don't know how to change it 
though.

Let me add my vote on this one too. I really think this is a stopper issue for 
many
people. I see AWN as a replacement for all the panels, but won't be able to use 
it
that way because it doesn't support gnome applets.
