Launching anything from the dock #309

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The dock doest launch just anything, only applications from the panel's
menu.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be a great convenience to be able to launch any file or folder
from the dock. Like many other docks.

Avant doesn't like to launch just anything, only applications. The dock in
the Apple system lets you launch anything.

Wouldn't this be great?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the latest version of Avant and am using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04

Please provide any additional information below.
I love the Avant dock work;)
