I dont know if this has been mentioned or thought of already, but being
able to set what window types appear in the window navigator may be
helpful.  I find it annoying when i alt + F2 to show the run dialog (window
type modalDialog) and also how splash windows appear in the bar.  Having a
gconf-entry where we could set window types to show up seems to be useful?

Sounds good, but it'll need a some changes in Awn, as ATM it reads whether or 
not to
show a window through libwnck. The splash screen problem, however, is something 
that
I am working on now, it should be done in an hour or so. I'll updat ehere when 
its done.
