running zxfer without any command line parameter:

./zxfer[123]: .: syntax error at line 198: `(' unmatched Abort (core dumped)

this on current master

Hi @GernotS . Looks like I mangled a previous merge. Master now matches development and experimental branches. Let me know if there are any other issues.
