Show relative paths #324

When generating files, there's a strong tendency to show absolute paths. It's easier to read relative paths.

Ah, I made this PR by juggling (rebasing) some commits from another branch. Test-failure indicates that juggling missed something. It's not really worth fixing here. The other branch passed.
