What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Detachable Chat window not incorporated 
2. Message Notification in chat window has no signals
3. merge with gtalk, irc, yahoo

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

partially fixed... added "beep" for new incoming message in version 2.0.17122007
