Numba integration to Python (x,y) #648

Hi, it would be great if numba was integrated in the Python(x,y) distribution.
At this point, the current version is 0.8 but they release new versions quite
often.

Great that this was updated over two years ago to release 2.7.5, (2.7.10 has
been released since)
but this issue remains listed as "NewPackage",
and has not been assigned to any developer.
This probably explains why nothing happened.
Numba is a whole lot simpler to use than its alternatives,
and has excellent performance.
PLEASE bump this up for the next release!
