Parking Data Meeting

Reports

3 reports are run daily:

1. Daily cash report (internal)
2. Flowbird
3. Park Mobile

Every day - tickets Verify through PayPal that every ticket was processed correctly in TicketTrax PayPal shows what is paid online Flowbird how much meters pulled in day before credit cards only Cash is processed once per week (Scott and Todd) Park Mobile (a little more intricate because of amount of data, have a macro to download)

BMD combines three reports (Nicole) Munis - has actual revenue

On-street and off-street parking data are kept separate

Park Mobile Macro

One csv file downloaded each day Process CSV with a series of macros including: Split data based on revenue/parking space Reformat so layout matches sheet going to town hall (easier to cut & paste!) Add header with date, etc.

Note: Flowbird data is easier to pull than ParkMobile.

Three things of interest they'd like to see on portal

1) Financial info (revenue data) with context 2) Occupancy 3) Ticket/citation data (number, what kind) data TicketTrax cardinal software (old - "consistently inconsistent"; may be moving to newer version soon)

Here is a brief outline of ideas (listed in priority) of what we could consider to move forward:

ParkMobile & Flowbird reports

• Use the direct transaction reports that ParkMobile (app) and Flowbird (pay stations) provide already online; if Janelle can work her magic!

Parking Financial Transactions from PD reports

• What we discussed in the mtg -- ParkMobile (app) and Flowbird (pay stations) reports that PD creates daily
• Ideally it’s updated monthly; we could start with quarterly at first?
• Could we go back and start with July 1, 2018; when new systems were fully in place?
• I couldn’t find any other cities that had parking financial transaction info like this. I’m curious to understand that better.

Parking Pay Station Information

• Update annually
• Similar to Pay Station ID tab on attached Excel Sheet
• Similar to Washington, DC – click here

Parking Locations

• Updated annually on July 1st
• Similar to Raleigh – click here

• Update every month; directly from vendor
• Include data from last 5 years; from old software.

Parking Occupancy Counts

• These counts will be conducted by consultants every 6mos or annually; starting in FY21.
