Crash during videocall #66

Open Nokta-strigo opened 6 years ago

I try to videocall from/to Toxygen to/from Antox. Antox starts the call with it's camera turned off. When I turn on Antox'es camera, Toxygen instantly crashes. Before I turn on Antox'es camera, I can see video from my computer (camera or desktop)

Toxygen output to console:

(toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-WARNING : cannot register existing type 'GdkDisplayManager' (toxygen:19542): GLib-CRITICAL : g_once_init_leave: assertion 'result != 0' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL : g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-WARNING : invalid (NULL) pointer instance (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL : g_signal_connect_data: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-WARNING : invalid (NULL) pointer instance (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL : g_signal_connect_data: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-WARNING : cannot register existing type 'GdkDisplay' (toxygen:19542): GLib-CRITICAL : g_once_init_leave: assertion 'result != 0' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL : g_type_register_static: assertion 'parent_type > 0' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-CRITICAL : g_once_init_leave: assertion 'result != 0' failed (toxygen:19542): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL : g_object_new: assertion 'G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed Segmentation fault

Toxygen: Version: 0.4.1 (https://github.com/toxygen-project/toxygen/releases/download/v0.4.1/toxygen_linux_64.tar.gz) OS: Linux Mint 18.3 MATE x64

Antox: Version 0.25.514 (15514)

Is it reproducible with 0.4.0?

Nokta-strigo commented 6 years ago

0.4.0 (downloaded from https://github.com/toxygen-project/toxygen/releases/download/v0.4.0/toxygen_linux_64.tar.gz) doesn't crash. On Android device everything looks good, on Toxygen video from Atox'es camera quickly breaks into small squares. Don't know if it's Toxygen or Antox problem (can't test with anything else right now)

Antox isn't worth it. donno why but anything related to android or iphone(os) always ends up being sht. :/ Didn't test video calling on toxigen however, but audio/video setting customization working fine as h , not like qTox always crashes whenever itry to customize a/v settings
